28th ANNUAL MEETING OF NACMID will be held on May 21, 22, 23, 2012 in Boxborough Massachusetts. This year’s meeting promises to be a busy roster of workshops on Mon-day, followed by General Ses-sions on Tuesday and Wednes-day packed with up-to-date information concerning cur-rent technologies in the Micro-biology World.


Topics were selected by your suggestions at last Junes’ meeting and will include Mass Spectophotometry identifica-tion method: Maldi-TOF, Anti- microbial Susceptibility Test-ing and Antibiograms, Blood Parasites, K pneumoniae carbapenamase (KPC’s) and Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL) produc-ing organisms and Biofilms just for starters.


We will once again hold an evening with the Vendors with a Wine & Cheese re-ception, followed by our Keynote Speaker.
